Akropolis Pastries began in 1979 as a small bakery in Toronto’s Greektown. It was one of the first places in Toronto to serve Greek food.Â

- The Akropolis Pastries store on the Danforth in Toronto closed in August 2023 after 44 years in business
- The bakery’s manufacturing facility in Concord is still open and customers can pick up products there
